Phillip Hewitt, owner of Featherworks Waterfowl Taxidermy was first introduced to the world of waterfowl over 25 years ago. As an avid hunter he learned the nature of waterfowl, and now as a taxidermist he applies the same knowledge and expertise to creating real to life mounts of your prized trophies.
Phillip makes Waterfowl Taxidermy more than just a hobby, or a job, it is a passion. With the precision of a surgeon he applies artistic creativity and knowledge unsurpassed to create mounts you believe would just "up and fly".
Trained at the Dave Luke School of Taxidermy under national and world reknowned taxidermist Dave Luke, he has learned the tricks of the trade to create mounts of exceptional quality.
Phillip is also a full-time fire fighter and Haz-Mat technician with the McComb Fire Department.
Featherworks Taxidermy is based in Summit, MS and we welcome you to visit our shop and see some of our latest creations, talk about hunting, or drop by your prized trophy for mounting.
